The Last Great Chicken Sandwich is Coming Soon to Tampa & Sarasota

Super Chix, a fast-casual dining brand known for its premium chicken sandwiches, tenders, fresh salads, and house-made frozen custard, has taken a significant step in its expansion plans with the announcement of a 20-unit franchise deal in the Tampa Bay and Sarasota areas of Florida. The agreement marks a pivotal move for Super Chix as it continues to grow its presence in the U.S.

The deal was made with The Pater Group, led by seasoned restaurant operators Todd and Lorraine Pater. The Pater family has a wealth of experience in the restaurant industry, and they are committed to bringing Super Chix’s distinctive offerings to the Florida market. The first of these new locations is expected to open by the end of 2025, with further openings following shortly after, contributing to Super Chix’s overall goal of opening 10 to 12 restaurants in 2025 alone.

This expansion reflects Super Chix’s broader growth strategy, which includes signing franchise agreements for over 300 locations across 23 states. With 35 restaurants already operational, Super Chix is positioned to significantly increase its footprint, and the Florida deal is seen as a major milestone in that effort.

Super Chix’s offering, which stands out in the crowded fast-casual space for its commitment to quality ingredients and innovative menu items, has been drawing interest from franchisees looking to invest in a brand with a loyal customer base and strong growth potential. The Pater Group’s extensive experience with operations and restaurant management makes them an ideal partner for this next phase of Super Chix’s expansion.

Tampa Bay and Sarasota, in particular, are seen as key markets for the brand due to their growing populations, strong tourism industries, and thriving culinary scenes. The new franchisees are not only bringing Super Chix’s signature offerings to Florida, but they are also tapping into an area of the state that continues to see a strong demand for quality dining experiences. This expansion could be a significant part of Super Chix’s effort to establish itself as a dominant player in the fast-casual sector.

This move is part of a larger trend of growing interest in chicken-based fast-casual concepts, and Super Chix’s focus on fresh ingredients and a premium dining experience is expected to resonate with a broad customer base in the region. As the brand continues to scale, the Tampa Bay and Sarasota openings will be a key part of Super Chix’s success story moving forward.
