A Vision Rooted in Community

At the heart of this new concept is Ella Scarberry, a Palmetto local with deep roots in the community. Home-schooled and later a graduate of Manatee Technical College’s pastry arts program, Ella has become a master of her craft. With the support of her family, she is pouring her creativity and passion into making Eleanor’s Coffee and Cakes a true gathering place for neighbors and visitors alike.

What’s on the Menu

Guests can look forward to an enticing menu featuring:

  • Freshly brewed coffee and teas
  • Homemade energy drinks and refreshers
  • Cakes, cookies, and pop tarts
  • Breakfast breads and pastries

Each recipe reflects Ella’s passion for flavor, quality, and the art of baking.

A Café with Character

One of the most charming features of the café will be its “quiet room.” Located by the front windows overlooking Main Street, this cozy nook will be adorned with historic photographs, memorabilia, and thoughtfully curated design details. It will honor both the building’s past and Palmetto’s heritage, offering a perfect setting for coffee sippers, book lovers, and anyone seeking a moment of calm.

More Than Just Coffee

Beyond daily service, Eleanor’s Coffee and Cakes will also make the space available for special events and gatherings, ensuring it becomes a true hub of community life on Main Street.
