Tim Hortons Coming to Heritage Harbour — A Warm Welcome for Coffee Lovers
HERITAGE HARBOUR, FL — The aroma of fresh coffee and baked goods will soon fill the air at Heritage Harbour, as Tim Hortons prepares to open its first location in the Bradenton area. The iconic Canadian coffee chain is expanding its U.S. presence once again — and one of its newest stops will be right here in Manatee County.

Location & Project Details
According to public development and leasing documents, the new Tim Hortons will be located on the north side of State Road 64 East, just east of Marketplace at Heritage Harbour, within the growing Landing at Heritage Harbour commercial development.
The planned building is approximately 1,611 square feet, designed as an outparcel near the intersection of SR 64 and Heritage Green Way. The site is part of a larger expansion that includes new retail and dining establishments serving the growing residential communities surrounding the Heritage Harbour corridor.

Florida Comeback for a Canadian Classic
Tim Hortons previously operated stores in Florida in the 1980s and early 1990s but eventually exited the state. Its return marks a renewed push into the U.S. market — particularly in fast-growing suburban areas with strong commuter and family demographics.
The Heritage Harbour location is part of a broader strategic expansion across the southeastern United States, with the company signaling interest in multiple Florida markets.
Construction & Timeline
The Edgewood Properties leasing page for The Landing lists the Tim Hortons site as “Coming Soon – Fall 2025.” While specific renderings and permit filings for the coffee shop have not yet been made public, the construction parcel is included in the latest site plan filed for the development.
No announcement has yet confirmed whether this location will feature a drive-thru, a walk-in café, or both — though given the suburban layout and traffic along SR 64, a drive-thru option appears likely.
Why This Matters
The addition of Tim Hortons underscores Heritage Harbour’s transformation into one of Manatee County’s busiest retail corridors. With a mix of local residents, commuters, golfers, and seasonal visitors, the area’s demand for coffee, breakfast, and quick-service dining continues to grow.
For many Canadian snowbirds who winter in the area, the return of Tim Hortons will also be a nostalgic taste of home — a reminder of maple-glazed mornings and friendly familiarity.
What’s Next
Watch for construction signage, building permits, and updates throughout 2025 as the project moves forward. Once open, the café will likely serve as a convenient early-morning stop for commuters heading to I-75 or a cozy afternoon spot for locals exploring the nearby Lakewood Ranch and East Bradenton communities.
