Saucy! by KFC Is Coming to Florida—Here’s Where It’s Opening First, Plus the Menu & Sauce List Driving the Hype
KFC’s experimental spinoff, Saucy! by KFC, is making Florida ground zero for its “flavor-forward” push—built around crispy tenders and 11 signature sauces designed for dipping, dunking, and customization. The concept debuted in Orlando and is now rolling out to additional locations in the region, with Jacksonville conversions also in the pipeline. And while Chicken restaurants are not new to Florida, their strategy to reinvent the wheel is well served as customers who used to take home fast foods just have less time to consume and typically eat in transit. KFC is betting on this with this new Saucy! business model.

Where Saucy! by KFC is opening in Florida (first wave)
Already open / opening in the Orlando area
- Orlando (Alafaya / original) — 502 S Alafaya Trail, Orlando, FL 32828
- Orlando (Waterford Lakes) — 12195 E Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32826 (grand opening reported Dec. 6, 2025)
- Winter Park — 925 S Orlando Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789 (reported opening Jan. 10, 2026)
- Orlando (Hunters Creek) — 14000 S. John Young Parkway, Orlando, FL (reported opening Jan. 17, 2026)
Planned (Jacksonville conversions reported)
- Jacksonville (Gate Parkway) — 4816 Gate Parkway (reported PDQ conversion site)
- Jacksonville (Beach & Hodges) — 3260 Hodges Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32224 (reported PDQ conversion site)
Why Florida first? Yum Brands has been tied to multiple former PDQ sites in Florida for future concept development, and Saucy appears to be one of the lead concepts in that pipeline.

The Saucy! Menu Update: What’s new!
Saucy started as tenders + sauces, but the concept is widening into bowls, salads, and late-night options—still built around “choose your base, choose your sauce.”
New / highlighted menu items reported include:
- Chicken Teriyaki Bowl
- Chicken Caesar Salad
- Brussels Bites / Brussels Bites side
- Puffies (pastries made for dunking; reported with raspberry sauce in coverage)
- Late-night “Kitchen Sink Grand’ito” (reported: queso + crinkle fries + egg + chopped tenders; after 9 p.m.)
That “newness” matters: Saucy is being positioned as a testbed for modern QSR behavior—customization, bold flavors, and a reason to come back repeatedly to try different combinations.
The 11 signature sauces
Per industry coverage, Saucy’s signature sauce list includes:
- Chimichurri Ranch
- Peri Peri Ranch
- Jalapeño Pesto Ranch
- Smokey Bacon Ranch
- Thai Sweet ’N Spicy
- Sweet ’N Saucy BBQ
- Saucy’s Sauce
- Spicy Mango Chutney
- Saucy Ranch
- Creole Honey Mustard
- Sweet Teriyaki
Why this plays in Florida: it’s a built-in “try-them-all” loop. Even if customers settle on one favorite, the menu is engineered for sampling (and social sharing), which is exactly how new fast-food concepts win repeat traffic in their first markets.
