2026 ACA Open Enrollment: Get the Right Coverage and Maximize Your Savings

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) Open Enrollment period for 2026 is officially here — running from November 1, 2025, through January 15, 2026. This is the time each year when individuals and families can review, change, or enroll in a new Marketplace health insurance plan. Whether you’re renewing an existing plan or looking for something new, this is your opportunity to make sure your coverage and costs are aligned with your household’s needs for the year ahead.

As a licensed 2-15 Health & Life Insurance Agent in Florida, I specialize in helping clients navigate the Marketplace and find the best possible coverage — often at a much lower monthly cost than they expect.

💰 Understanding ACA Tax Credits and Subsidies

One of the biggest benefits of the ACA is the premium tax credit — a subsidy that helps lower your monthly health insurance premium. These savings are based on your household size and estimated 2026 income, specifically your Modified Adjusted Gross Income (MAGI) from your federal tax return.

Even if you didn’t qualify for assistance in the past, it’s worth checking again. The income thresholds have increased, and many families who previously paid full price for coverage are now receiving substantial help.

For 2026, a family of four can qualify for subsidies with income up to around $128,600 (400% of the Federal Poverty Level).

If you’re unsure how to estimate your income or determine your eligibility, I’ll help you calculate your expected MAGI and guide you through the entire subsidy application process — so you get every dollar you deserve.

What Rock Enroll Insurance & Steven Rovinsky Can Help You With

As an independent broker, I work with all major ACA carriers in Florida — Aetna, Ambetter, Molina, Oscar, WellPoint, etc  — to provide you with side-by-side comparisons and honest recommendations. My services include:

✅ Comparing HMO, EPO, and PPO plans for your preferred doctors and hospitals
✅ Estimating your tax credits and cost-sharing reductions
✅ Reviewing your prescriptions and provider networks for compatibility
✅ Enrolling or renewing your Marketplace coverage through HealthCare.gov
✅ Bundling your plan with Hospital Indemnity, Critical Illness, or Accident insurance for added protection
✅ Year-round support for claims, renewals, and coverage changes

Best of all, my help is completely free to you — brokers like me are compensated by the carriers, not by clients. That means you get personalized guidance at no additional cost.

🗓️ Important 2026 Enrollment Deadlines

There are two critical cutoff dates to remember during ACA Open Enrollment:

  • December 15, 2025 – Apply or make changes by this date for coverage that starts January 1, 2026.
  • January 15, 2026 – Final deadline for Open Enrollment. Plans selected between Dec 16 and Jan 15 will begin February 1, 2026.

After January 15, 2026, you can only enroll or make changes if you qualify for a Special Enrollment Period (SEP) — such as losing other coverage, moving, getting married, or having a baby.

💡 Why Work With a Licensed Broker?

The ACA Marketplace can be confusing — between carrier networks, income limits, and tax credit rules, it’s easy to make a costly mistake. Working with a licensed broker ensures you have someone who understands both the coverage options and the financial aspects of the ACA.

When you work with me, you’ll get:

  • Unbiased advice across multiple carriers
  • A plan that fits your real doctors and prescriptions
  • Help avoiding tax credit errors or coverage gaps
  • Ongoing support long after your plan starts

📞 Ready to Review Your Options?
